Crockpot Mongolian Beef

Oh my goodness- this meal is AMAZING!! Like I have said before, my hubby LOVES meat, and this is another recipe that tops his list (and mine too!) It's super simple too!

Crockpot Mongolian Beef
Recipe from Six Sisters Stuff

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. flank steak, cut into stir fry sized strips
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon ginger
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shredded carrots
3 medium green onions, chopped

Directions:
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Put cornstarch in a small bowl and coat each piece of steak in it. Place steak in crockpot and discard any remaining cornstarch. Mix the remaining ingredients in a medium sized bowl and pour over beef. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours. Serve over rice and add additional green onions on the top.

  14. My sisters and I are spread across the country now so to feel like we were still doing things together we have "wurtz sisters family dinner" once a month. One of us picks the theme and we all make a version of it for dinner for our families so we are making dinner "together" on the specific night. Then we instagram (#myseesters)our meals! This month it is Mongolian beef so I am excited to try this version!
